You just can't kill it...

That's what Bruce said - a full-blooded Aussie who had acquired a Kelly harrow. Bruce's goal was to test if this peculiarly looking harrow was able to live up to the dealer's many selling points.

It was, and as Bruce enthusiastically told Helle and Bjarne: You just can’t kill it, Helle - you just can’t kill it....

Listen to Bruce explaining the Kelly harrow at denne video - but you better have your Australian dictionary at hand!

The story

The Kelly MPH was designed by the Kelly Engineering, app. 25 years ago. kelly Engineering is a family bussiness established between Peter and Shane Kelly. Both being farmers, they understand the Requirements for extreme durability and large capacity and knows first hand, that costs in resources of breakdowns and lack of efficiency is considerable.

Throughout the years, the chain harrow has been further developed and improved and is today known for its unique quality, efficiency and low-cost maintenance.

Since then, its success has spread from Australia to North America and the idea for a European variant was born after a Danish visit Down Under in 2008:

During a visit, Helle and Bjarne Knudsen came across the machine that was recommended by a friend who had then been using it for several years without any notable amount of maintenance.

They contacted Kelly Engineering from their motel room and a two-hour meeting was arranged at Brisbane Airport. The meeting resulted in a good old-fashioned handshake for delivery of a test model for the 2008 harvest season.

Since then, relations with Kelly Engineering have evolved and KK Europe, now has a license agreement to manufacture and sell the product through out the European union countries. Kelly engineering has been involved throughout the development and adaptation of the Kelly MPH, which is the name of the European model licensed for manufacture in Denmark.
